Injection Rifle - Model JM Special
DAN-INJECT have produced an easily convertible version of the JM STANDARD injection rifle to allow for rapidly changing individual requirements. With a total overall length of only 65 cm the DAN-INJECT model JM SPECIAL provides outstanding accuracy when darting from helicopters or vehicles over ranges of 15 - 20 metres. In addition the short overall length is an advantage when manoeuvring within confined areas. By installing the quickly detachable 11 mm rifled extension barrel accuracy for longer range darting is quickly restored, making this a truly multi-purpose injection rifle.
The DAN-INJECT model JM SPECIAL is also available with a 25 bar pressure manometer and trigger assembly. This enables experienced operators to dart at extended ranges in optimum conditions. Other features are as for the DAN-INJECT JM STANDARD rifle.

DAN-INJECT Injection needles

DAN-INJECT produce a wide range of needles in diameters of 1.5 and 2.00 mm and lengths from 20 to 100 mm. DAN-INJECT has developed new injection needles with a diameter of 2.2 mm (length 60 mm) and specially designed for thick-skinned animals. Needles are available in plain, collared or barbed configurations and all offer 100% positive location when used with DAN-INJECT dart syringes. All needles are tip sealed with two injection ports located on the shaft 6 - 9 mm from the point. This allows for injection to the side for better dispersal and drug absorption and also reduces the possibility of blockage.

Extensive materials research and the latest injection moulding technology have been used in the production of DAN-INJECT dart syringes. DAN-INJECT is the only company in which the entire line of pistol and rifle dart syringes are produced by injection tools that are developed and owned by the conpany. These dart syringes have been engineered to withstand extremes of climatic and temperature variation. As a result they are suitable for virtually all environmental conditions and have very high durability. Resistance to damage is exceptional and multiple use is intended, with obvious economical benefits to the operator. DAN-INJECT subject all darts to a 100% quality control regime prior to dispatch to all regions of the world.

Model 389 Projector

The Model 389 is the latest and most advanced cartridge fired projector of the modern day era. Although unique, the Model 389 is a collaborative design based on its predecessor’s best attributes. The Model 389 has proven to be the most versatile, accurate, and consistent cartridge fired projector ever made. The hinged, breach loading dart barrel supports any size dart and is equipped with our revolutionary Airflow Control Ports. Our ACP technology aligns the exiting gas at the muzzle, thereby virtually eliminating “tail-kick” of the dart. The five position power control has been moved closer to the shooter ensuring silent, quick, and safe power adjustment for any shot distance.

Type 'C' Dart (5 Pack)

Pneu-Dart type 'C' disposable darts are .50 caliber and are designed to provide precise drug delivery in a convenient, inexpensive projectile. These darts are appropriate for use on small or large animals. Color-coded in orange, Type C darts are best used with cartridge projectors.

Note: The .5cc, 1cc, and 1.5cc 'C' and 'P' appear to be identical, but the 'C' dart has a slightly larger diameter tail for use in our cartridge-fired rifles.
